The joy of trails

Hello! Welcome to my “Find Your Joy” project.

Joy Every Week is my way of trying to add a little light to an increasingly chaotic, dark and often terrifying world. We need joy to survive, to fight, to thrive - that’s why I’m here. And I’m glad you are, too. Ready to join me? :)

What Can You Expect

A weekly quest to find your joy in everyday things.

  • Weekly writings & explorations about different sources of joy, along with my own experiences to inspire you and remind you that joy is possible. I call this the “story” part of the quest.

  • Quests - ideas on how you can find that week’s type of joy in your own life, things you can experiment and try, and one or more tasks to guide your search.

  • Clues - a few resources related with the week’s quest, such as links, book suggestions and quotes, to help you with your quest for joy.

Sounds good?

About Me

Picture of myself, looking up to the side, as if thinking about something complicated or suspicious. I’m holding my mate.
Thinking about life, the universe and everything. The thing I’m holding is my mate.

Nospheratt. Nos for short.

I’m in my 40s. Not cis. Not neurotypical. English is my fourth language. Living the expat life in Geneva, Switzerland.

I do not tolerate bigotry of any kind, be it transphobia, homophobia, racism, misogyny, xenophobia, ableism, or any other other bullshit.

Trans people are welcome here, of course. Always.

I am pro choice. I am political, because merely existing as I do is political.

If you disagree with any of the above statements, you shouldn’t be here. In the words of the marvelous Michael Sheen, you are most welcome to very fuck off.

Otherwise, I am delighted to have you here. Welcome to the quest for joy, I hope you enjoy the journey! —Nospheratt
