πΏ Hello, lovely! Iβm Nospheratt and this is Joy Every Week - a weekly quest to find joy in everyday things. Youβre receiving this either because you subscribed or someone forwarded it to you. Enjoy! :) πΏ
Here it is, my first video post. Iβm feeling many ways about it β itβs my first video post here, and my second video ever (the first one was a catastrophe π).
Please be gentle. π₯²
Like I promised in the post 10 Very Small, Simple, Easy Joys - Try This When You Just Canβt Anymore, today Iβm showing you how to create a journal spread inspired by a happy memory.
This is Part I - Part II will be up tomorrow. ππΏ
Early in the video I said I wasnβt going to talk the whole time, and it turns outβ¦ I lied. π
πΏ Iβm Learning
I had fun making this, but. Iβm new to this whole video thing, so I didnβt realize several things, like: the video shakes a bit at times, either because the table is shaking (I didnβt know my desk is not particularly stable! π ), or the camera is using auto focus (I have disabled that. I think). I should have started with a better introduction of what weβre doing. The light should probably be brighter. Thereβs no real ending to the video β that will come with Part II.
Oh well.
At least youβll know exactly how it feels to be invited to my living room. Because all the messiness β thatβs me. Genuinely me, with all my flaws.
I will work on improving the technical side of things, and Iβll keep learning everything I can on how to make nice videos for you. But it will always be messy, because Iβm not an influencer or content creator β Iβm just here inviting you to my space, to show you what I do, and hopefully inspire you to find joy in your journaling practice. πππΏ
πΏ Things Mentioned in the Video
The place: Quinta de los Molinos
The song: Heavenly Day by Patty Griffin
Thatβs It For Today!
Part II will be up soon, maybe tomorrow. I think itβs already an improvement on Part I, but weβll see. π
I hope you enjoy my little video. Please tell me what youβd like to see in future videos β like I said, Iβm working on the Journaling for Joy free workshop, and Iβd love to make it as useful and as fun for you as I possibly can. π
Until next time. βNospheratt ππΏ
