🌿 Journaling for Joy - Spring & Renewal
Prompts and ideas for you journal + a workshop is coming…
🌿 Hello, lovely! I’m Nospheratt and this is Joy Every Week - a weekly quest to find joy in everyday things. You’re receiving this either because you subscribed or someone forwarded it to you. Enjoy! :) 🌿
Spring has arrived, it seems. 🌸💮🌼
To be honest, I’m not ready to say goodbye to winter—I never am. I like the cold, the gloomy weather, the rain, the coziness of being home.
But spring is here anyway, uncaring of my cold winter heart. 🥲
And since I do delight in spring once I accept that the cold days are gone and won’t return until September, this week our journaling for joy turns towards renewal.
🌿 If this is your first time hearing about this “Journal for Joy” thing, read this: 🌿 Easy, Joyful Journaling for Busy People 🌿

🌿 Journaling for Joy Workshop
Next month I’ll be offering a free Journaling for Joy workshop. 😁😊💚🌿
🪴 Journaling for Joy?
You are probably familiar with journaling, and its many forms: long form writing, art journaling, creative journaling, junk journals… there are as many possibilities as there are people.
I’ve been journaling since I learned how to write. It has saved my life, my sanity, my humanity. It has helped me deal with trauma, heal wounds, process grief, and celebrate all the wonderful things that crossed my path.
And lately, I have been working on ways to add joy to my journaling, and using my journaling as a way to add more joy to my daily life. To recover the freedom of being very young and messing around with color, words and emotions, for the pure joy of it.
I want to share that with you. 😊
🌱 In the workshop I invite you to:
Explore what joy means to you, and how can you add it to your journaling practice
Discover simple, easy and creative ways of journaling for joy
Explore your personal symbolism - elements that are meaningful to you, to use in your journaling
Set up your Journal for Joy / Quest for Joy Field Book (like I suggest in The Quest For Joy. If you’ve always wanted to do it and didn’t know how, or lacked motivation, this is for you! 😊)
Have fun! Be creative and express your unique self.
🌱 The workshop will include:
A lovely welcome packet with stuff to print and use on your journal.
A printable booklet with prompts and questions to explore your joy and personal symbols
Introductory videos
Two live sessions
🌱Who is this workshop for?
This is for you if you:
Are new to journaling, and would like to discover an easy, fun and accessible way of doing it
Want to add more joy to your journal practice
Would like to journal in community, sharing space and time with other lovely people.
Are interested in setting up a Quest for Joy notebook to chronicle your adventures in joy 😉😊
Places for the live sessions will be limited, because I’ve never done this before, and I want it to feel cozy, warm and welcoming. You, my lovely reader, will be notified first when I open enrollment and share more details next week. 😊
I’m going to be honest: I’m a bit terrified. It’s been many, many years since I hosted an event, and I’ve never done it online. But I’m also excited! Looking forward to sharing space and joy with you. 😊💚🌿
That’s It For Today!
I hope you have fun with this. 😊🌼 If you’d like, share your spring pages with me. I’d love to see what you make. 💚
And I hope you’ll join me in the workshop! 😊💚🌿
Until next time. —Nospheratt 💚🌿
